ABOUT THE LAB

At the center of the Lab is the study of generative structure.

Small elements form a whole through their relations, while the whole acts back upon each of its parts.

Parts and wholes, micro and macro, individuals and relations—together with time and change—form the conditions from which life, nature, people, and society continually emerge.

The Lab investigates these shared structures across inner human life, living systems, nature, society, history, culture, art, and human–AI co-intelligence.

Founder of AI–HUMAN Joint Research Lab

Born in Osaka in 1977, she has developed a practice connecting more than twenty years of painting with poetry, social welfare, cultural inheritance, and research into generation.

Working under both names—Minami Fukasaka and Michiko Kawachi—she explores how life, inner experience, land, memory, ritual, history, and human–AI dialogue give rise to new forms of knowledge and expression.
